Hello, again
It's been awhile and, despite my best efforts, I have new watchers. Seems like a (re)introduction is in order. Hi, my name's Suzanne and I think my writing is decent enough that I'm not embarrassed by it. On here, I upload my poetry but I also dabble in fanfiction. That I'm more embarrassed by, but we deal. I'm 21 and planning on heading off to law school in the fall. My birthday is on Dec 4, not the 7th but I've lied about a lot of things to dA when I first signed up all those years ago. I've been in a long-term relationship for four years now. That coincides close enough with when I stopped posting on here. He's a good man, but he's not the best muse. I like that; I've had enough excitement and enjoy "boring" now. It suits me. I have no idea how long I'll be sticking around for. I had three poems I wanted to touch up, one of which I posted already. I don't know whether I'll be a tormented soul again or whether I just need to artistically vent over the last thorn in my side. I'm wrapping up my first year at an actual university. Graduated high school last May with my AA so I only have one more year of classes left. This semester had been the roughest since I had to write a research paper required for my graduation. It's on German guilt in contemporary discourse surrounding the Holocaust. I'm a history major. My school doesn't offer any German history classes outside those focusing on the Holocaust and WWII. My fanfictions, on the other hand, will no longer be uploaded to dA. I've had a great run on here with them. This was my first site where I ever posted them and, for a long time, that's what the majority of my following was about. That's changed and so has the landscape of this site. The only popular fanfic in the Hetalia fandom here is reader inserts, a genre I've never taken seriously and refuse to participate in. And even those are receiving less interactions. Hey there everyone. I'm entering my first year of university come this fall. Like the majority of college students, I'm going to be paying for everything myself (books, materials, gas). I'm unable to currently get a job due to my cystic fibrosis making it impossible for any part-time work (I cough all the time so that cancels out food, I have to carry out treatments 4xs a day).

Instead of a computer, try the good, old fashioned pen and paper and see if that helps. I know for me, sometimes the computer screen can be more of a hindrance than a help. Also, a lot of the time (at least for me) I have a hard time getting into the bubble where I can focus. What seems to help me get to that point (where I can conquer a lot of ground in about 45 minutes) is to listen to music with my ear buds in (Pandora's Lindsey Stirling station is AMAZING for this!).
